We're seeking a National Sales Manager to manage a US Sales through developing and fostering effective sales relationships and opportunities in assigned geographic territory in concert with overall company sales and marketing objectives. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery while successfully working in close collaboration with global sales team to reach department and organizational goals. 

Based in the United States, this professional will:

 

Profile
  • Manage assigned sales territory to achieve sales objectives including developing building and fostering effective customer relationships and sales opportunities
  • Contact existing and prospective customers in person and via phone on a regular and consistent basis to develop and build strong relationships with key personnel within target customer base and present all appropriate GEM ONE products and services
  • Train customer staff on use of GEM One website and other sales tools features and functions
  • Gather competitive literature and promotional material with customer consent
  • Works to gather and use competitive market information to create sales opportunities and customer relationships
  • Develops low value customers and new or inactive customer accounts
  • Partners with Marketing to create brand awareness and promote research tools and services to support the U.S. value proposition
  • Develop and manage goals and objectives, task prioritization, and effective use of available resources
  • Identify and resolve basic and moderately complex customer questions and issues
  • Effectively utilizes sales planning tools and the pipeline management process to obtain business objectives and goals
  • Works closely with inside and outside sales teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for up-selling/cross selling to existing accounts
  • Navigate and use sales planning tools and other company databases and programs to locate and source parts and customer information
  • Leverage established GEM One product, sales and customer relations processes, concepts, and systems to provide effective and timely customer service

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university

  • Must possess a minimum of five years’ work experience in a Sales role or other applicable customer service/inside sales role
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and conversing with customers
  • Must demonstrates a proven track record in providing exemplary customer service and consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrates proficient understanding of telematics and industrial equipment industry, customers, suppliers and vendors
  • Demonstrates a proven track record in customer relationship development and maintenance and meeting inside sales objectives and goals through effective customer relationship development
  • Demonstrates proficient understanding and demonstrating sales techniques including cold calling, customer qualification and customer acquisition
  • Demonstrates effective presentation skills including effective proficiency using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated proficiency using a company systems and company sales planning tools
